01
Risk Management & Risk Analysis
Risk management in technical systems is an essential and continuous process.
Task risk assessment is a decisive factor if tasks are to be carried out safely.
IMOREL supports businesses in all process phases – from identification, through analysis and evaluation of risks, to the development of suitable measures. Our service is integrated into established guidelines and structures (for example a risk matrix) of the firms who are our clients. We are also happy to collaborate in the development of programs.
A selection of the methods and tools we use:
- FTA (Fault Tree Analysis)
- FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study)
- Risk Matrix
- Risik Analysis
- Task Risk Assessment
02
Investigation of Incidents and Accidents
The more complex the system, the less apparent are the reasons leading to a chain of events. All accidents – regardless of the degree of seriousness – reveal indications of technical or systemic weaknesses through detailed investigation.
Root Cause Analysis for Systemic Improvement (RCA-SI)
With RCA-SI, IMOREL uses a method that achieves more than the recognition of direct or superficial causes. The goal of RCA-SI is to discover deep-seated systemic problems: for example in organization, processes, standards, or instructions. In numerous projects in Germany and internationally, IMOREL has been able to identify successfully the roots of difficulties within systems and to evolve appropriate counter-measures.
We offer our clients:
- Team and project leadership for investigations
- Advice and support for the application of RCA-SI
- Education and training for staff in all areas
03
Maintenance
IMOREL supports firms in the introduction of reliable maintenance procedures.
RCM - Reliability Centered Maintenance
RCM is a systematic process for the development and implementation of optimal individual maintenance strategies using four basic principles relating to malfunction, condition, prediction, and proactive maintenance considerations. These four principles are combined in this process and expanded through the introduction of further parameters.
Our services include:
- Detailed analyses of work processes and procedures
- Introduction and optimization of functioning performance indicator systems
- Strategic advice and concept development
